CHANUKAH
2003 PARTY
Young and old poured out on a balmy December 23rd evening to celebrate Chanukah.
We had all the traditional yummies--latkes, jelly doughnuts--along with balloons, hot dogs, hamburgers, and Lower East Side knish specialties.
The children enjoyed games like competing
in balloon limbo and watching the magic of Yoel Hecht
.
Adults went home with goodies from the Chinese auction, and the youngsters had door prizes in one hand and balloons in the other.
And, of course, Rabbi Romm led everyone in the lighting of the menorah and the singing of Maoz Tsur.
